Description
We’re currently seeking a Senior Manager IT Business Applications to lead IT service delivery across the BrightView Enterprise Solutions division by identifying, creating and improving business processes and technology solutions. In this role, the Senior Manager IT Business Applications works with key functional leaders to achieve organizational objectives including data management and analytics, deployment of strategic capabilities, and process improvement. This role will provide leadership in the development and implementation of technology initiatives, on the Salesforce.com platform as well as other technologies.

Job Specifics:
• Serves as business relationship manager and a trusted advisor to business partners across various functions.
• Leads all aspects of the technical project lifecycle, from conception, to project definition, initial kickoff, requirements analysis and design, through testing, implementation, and adoption.
• Ensures projects are delivered using best practices and with strong alignment to business needs.
• Consults, advises and challenges leadership on process and performance opportunities regarding growth, customer interaction, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Oversees technical design, development of solutions, and coordination and execution of deployment activities on the Salesforce platform.
• Manages team of IT resources, contractors and third-party vendors.
• Ensures that the team is operating smoothly and efficiently to support functional areas to achieve organizational goals.
• Assists in developing and then executing against an agreed upon application roadmap for multiple projects.
• Proactively identifies risks and manages mitigation plans as required.
• Delegate responsibility and hold team members accountable to reaching their goals.
• Lead, train, monitor, and evaluate the performance of employees to meet individual and team targets
• Create an inspiring team environment with a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
• Support team member’s professional development to foster employee engagement and meet organizational strategic initiatives
• Work with Human Resources staff to recruit, interview, select, hire, and onboard new employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5-7 years leading IT in managerial, project management or process improvement roles.
• Firm grasp on IT security and operations best practices.
• Demonstrated success at leading solutions that solve business problems; ability to influence the opinions and approach of business and IT team members
• Extensive experience in translating business requirements into practical solutions
• Experience with diverse 3rd party software and development tools, ranging from ERP solutions to custom web development and mobile technologies.
• Experienced managing team of full-time staff and contractors
• Experienced in vendor management
• Comfortable with change and ambiguity, acts as a change agent
• Demonstration of critical thinking and problem solving
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
