Description
We are looking for a Product Manager for a position in Atlanta, Georgia! This is a great opportunity for someone local to Atlanta. It will require little onsite!

What you get to do:

• Managing every aspect of a product’s development from conception to completion
• Testing samples and researching a sample product’s effectiveness and impact
• Assessing and identifying product opportunities to determine which are worth pursuing
• Polling customers to assess a product’s need and viability
• Determining the right features for a product to ensure its effectiveness within the market
• Identifying and defining the target customer’s needs and using this information to develop relevant products
• Oversee product strategy development and defining the steps required to bring the product to fruition

Requirements
Skills/Requirements:

• Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product line, specifically around Internet of Things (IoT) concept
• Creating strategic plans for the Wire and Cable category, including growth and promotional programs to achieve Annual Operating Plan objectives
• Developing and executing product assortment decisions, inventory and pricing strategies based on historical data, industry trends and customer buying patterns
• Managing end-to-end vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, vendor identification, growth programs and marketing communications
• Growing the product category profitably in line with GM% targets, while adhering to working capital and IOS (Inactive, Obsolete, Surplus) requirements for the category
• Supporting field sales staff by clearly communicating promotional programs, new products or suppliers resolution of transactional issues
• Generate Annual Fiber Budget and 90-Day Rolling Forecast in conjunction with Sales & Operations Planning Utilizing Key Market Indicators
• Identify and qualify business potential for new target markets and/or product opportunities
• Develop and implement pricing strategies for existing and new products in conjunction with the Sales Department
• Assimilate competitive market Data into Key Strategic Recommendations on Pricing/Packaging/Target Market Segmentation
