Description

Works with the senior company, site, and functional leaders in the business, formulates and deploys long-term plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost-effective IT systems that satisfy business requirements and goals.

Serves as a primary point of contact for all Information Technology needs of the business with customer focus. Integrate acquisitions into Milton’s ERP wherever possible. Create one common ERP system for Industrial Hose, Flange and Gasket business.

Ensures that local plant level IT issues and requirements are acknowledged and addressed in an efficient manner.

Builds organizational competency and alignment with overall business strategy.

Oversees all aspects of Milton IT needs Enterprise applications (Plex), IT infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory Services, Microsoft Exchange, smtp/mail, networking (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP), , Communication (LAN, WAN, email, Voice, Video etc.), CRM (Hubspot) database/data integrity, backup recovery, regulatory compliance, IT Service desk and overall information security.

Prepares overall status and activity metrics that documents and tracks delivery of IT services, planned and unplanned system outages, and other key IT performance metrics.

Maintains overall security of network/systems/applications/information for Milton Industries and associated portfolio companies

Ensures high availability of business systems hosted by Milton’s IT and any third-party cloud-based service providers on behalf of Milton IT.

Owns and maintains strict controls on overall system/data backup, recovery, and Disaster Recovery strategy. Develops and implements data retention standards and maintains them in support of audits and any other business needs.

Manages IT staff members in their daily activities as well as supporting business projects.

Develops and manages relationships with vendors in support of staff augmentation and systems support.

Establishes and implements best-practice standards as well as departmental policies and procedures.

Defines and communicates project milestones, service level agreements, operational metrics and resource allocation to executive team, department leads, support staff, and end users.

Develops business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT systems spending and initiatives.

Participates in the negotiation and administration of vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements.

Builds IT departmental strategies to align with the overall business strategy as well as business success

Develops and implements application, hardware and software standards for enterprise systems and IT services.

Creates and manages formal budgets including both operational and capital projects.

Manages IT Asset Management lifecycle for the regional responsible.
