Sr IT Business Analyst

Description

We are looking for a candidate with passion for improving business efficiencies and innovating consumer product. You will collaborate closely with team managers and subject matter experts to design and implement new policies, processes, and systems. After collecting requirements and specifications you will leverage systems administrative and design features to implement solutions. For data and report solutions you will team up with a database developer. Project management and communication abilities will be necessary to keep the team on task to meet objectives. Enterprise Systems Management The Senior IT Business Analyst is responsible for developing future roadmaps for enterprise systems. Whether the system is in the cloud, SaaS, or on premise, you will coordinate with the developer to ensure the systems can communicate between each other using a variety of techniques. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining all enterprise corporate systems ensuring proper licensing, security, up time, changes, maintenance, patch updates, backups and restorability. Working with our Quality and Regulatory Affairs team you will ensure systems are compliant with regulatory requirements.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES • Assess business processes and systems and recommend solutions. • Effectively manage multiple priorities and frequent change. • Maintain change management and versioning within corporate systems. • Consult or develop departmental policy, business policy, and procedural documentation. • Manage interaction between the business, vendors, and the internal IT team to ensure that appropriate relationships exist to produce positive project outcomes. • Provide leadership and consulting with key stake holders, teams, departments, individuals and collaboratively accomplish project goals set forth by the business. • Direct and manage projects from inception to completion including pilots and system testing. • Demonstrate project management expertise in creating implementation plans, communication plans, documented project requirements, cost, Gantt, and Risk Management techniques using concepts associated with project management methodologies such as Agile and SDLC. • Develop and implement technical solutions and automation within corporate systems and reporting systems. • Perform requirements gathering and analysis to include interviewing and negotiation techniques, data mining techniques, current system documentation, business modeling methods, business policies, process, rules, and logic. • Communicate effectively in both verbal (i.e., day-to-day discussions, team meetings, executive presentations) and written (requirements and design specifications) forms, with the ability to be clear and concise in all communication. • Conduct training one on one or in a classroom setting on business systems and processes. Should possess the ability to coach, mentor, and train both technical and non-technical personnel. • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve employee reported incidents (Tier III), provide services, manage problems, change, and releases using an IT Service Management system. • Analyze business workflows and translate into diagrams. • Maintain all database and enterprise corporate systems including access and security management, patch updating, troubleshooting application to server issues. • Ensure policies for data and systems are correctly documented so that data and systems are properly backed up and restorable. • Create and maintain disaster recovery protocols for enterprise corporate systems. • Repair and recover from enterprise system failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted teams or departments. • Manage Enterprise Systems future migration, rollout, and integration roadmap

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS • 5+ years in IT Business Systems Analyst, ERP Systems Manager • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar IT degree / MBA or other certifications desired. • Strong interpersonal and communications skills. • 2+ years using project management skills, tools, and methodologies. • 2+ years’ work experience with medical device, clinical, or life science companies
