We need experienced Project Managers/ Sr. Consultants! Join this existing team in the Maple Grove, Minnesota area as a Senior Project Manager and you could work with our local client onsite! You will strengthen your candidacy if you can be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. Responsibilities

 

– Help cross-product teams to manage dependencies

 

– Plans the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

 

– Helps to identify, classify, and manage risk for functional improvement requests

 

– Provides detailed reporting to management on project status, risk assessments, and milestone completion

 

– Combines info from QA leads, technical leads, and business analysts into ideas

 

– Coordinates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap

 

– Verify that the functional requirements are tracked, met, and achievable

 

– Work in close collaboration and communicates with developers, technical team members, designers, and stakeholders

 

– Coordinates the daily stand-ups, ensuring they are focused, timely, and brief

 

– Plans and governs the sprint planning and grooming meetings and traces ticket assignments

 

– Adheres and schedules projects – as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

 

– Work in close collaboration with the Business Analyst, QA Manager, Product Specialist, and Product Owner/Product Manager

 

– Engages with Product Owner/Product Manager to double check that the product vision and high-level business objectives are transparent and obtainable

 

– Serves as Scrum Master for the developers on the team – leading scrum ceremonies, clearing obstacles and ensuring the team is working effectively

 

– Establishes project with proper ticket workflows and boards

 

– Comes together with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

 

– In charge of project planning

 

– Sets schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines

 

– Masters deployment scheduling in coordination with tech lead, Product Owner, and Dev Ops

 

– Foster the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

 

Requirements

– Demonstrated ability to lead medium to large custom and/or complex software development and/or implementation projects

 

– 5+ years of project management experience

 

– Skilled in managing complicated technology and cross-functional projects

 

– Knowledge of utilizing resource tools to manage capacity, forecast, demand and allocation of people

 

– Must have superb stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels of the organization

 

– Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of education and work experience

 

– Knowledge of Agile delivery teams, projects and programs

 

– Technical experience including JIRA or similar application and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, etc.)
