Program Manager

Description

Responsible for the overall initiation and management of assigned organizational programs and related program activities throughout all phases. Focus should be on understanding the requirements/scope of each program, define and manage targets/schedules, budget, and program quality.

  • Lead team in determining quality of current organizational processes/practices and identify gaps to establish program needs. Communicate/present findings as required to establish buy-in from decision makers.
  • Establish solid relationships with functions/personnel responsible for the decision-making process and serve as the primary point of communication interface between internal/external stakeholders of related programs.
  • Act as an advisor to organization in establishing best practices in processes/procedures/systems
  • Establish program schedules including activities to take place for successful completion, determine inter-dependencies, duration, resources required, and any potential constraints on deliverables.
  • Collaborate with local Finance teams to establish required and potential program costs
  • Liaise directly with internal project lead roles (engineering, manufacturing, design, etc.) ensuring project progress is aligned to timing, cost and quality targets
  • Assign and delegate key project tasks to appropriate team members and follow up on their completion.
  • Promote, support and follow up on change management tasks determined in the programs with the related functions.
  • Prepare and conduct program review status meetings for the management team including open issues, activity owner, promise dates etc.
  • Provide clear, detailed, and effective communication of program issues and status with internal/external stakeholders throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with global project management team to establish best practices and lead effort for implementation of a company-wide program management system.
  • Responsible for project team formation and the approval of resources from relevant functional managers.
  • Responsible for project closure, lessons learned and project hand over to facility lead.

 

Requirements

Interested candidates should have warehouse experience and IT experience. Ther will be project management and Implementation
