Description
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sites information technology infrastructure, systems, and operations. You will lead a team of IT professionals, ensuring that all IT systems and services are running smoothly and effectively to meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, including hardware, software, network, and security infrastructure.
-Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
-Manage and motivate a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support in their work.
-Work with other departments to identify and prioritize IT needs and projects, ensuring that they align with business objectives.
-Manage and monitor IT budgets and expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
-Ensure the security and integrity of data, implementing appropriate measures to protect against cyber threats and data breaches.
-Manage relationships with external IT vendors, ensuring that they deliver high-quality services and products that meet company needs.
-Ensure that IT systems are in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
-5+ years of experience in IT management, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry.
-Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, including hardware, software, network, and security infrastructure.
-Experience managing a team of IT professionals, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders, ensuring that IT supports and aligns with business objectives.
-Experience managing budgets and expenses, with a focus on cost savings and efficiency improvements.
-Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to IT, such as GDPR and data protection laws.
-Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ITIL would be an advantage.
