Description
As an IT Manager you will:
Become an expert and have the ability to train co-workers regarding company specific software
Serve as the initial point of contact and will gather and analyze information about the users issues to answer basic questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage.
Determine the best way to resolve all related system problems
Provide technical support of hardware, systems, sub-systems and applications as the IT Manager
Assist with navigating around application menus with the ability to remote into customers computers
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues on a corporate network
Required qualification for IT Manager:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or work experience equivalent to required education
5+ years managing an IT department
2-3 years experience in a help desk or desktop role is a plus
Working knowledge of office, office 365, Window 7/10 and Could System
Experience with Plex and Solidworks is a plus
Understanding of Windows server 2012 and 2016
Experience working with a service desk ticketing system
Experience working with Active Directory and understanding corporate networks, ip addressing, subnetting and basic router functionality
