Description
You could be the Systems Engineer that this local client working with Robert Half is seeking to join their team. This position is a key contributor to the maintenance and optimization of the client’s network and wireless infrastructure, so our Systems Engineer must be prepared for such duties.
How you will make an impact
– Band together with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
– Oversee and review application performance for potential bottlenecks, define possible solutions, and join forces with developers to realize those fixes
– Take part in the design of information and operational support systems
– Grant 2nd and 3rd level support
– Consistently deliver the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
– Provide backup, redundancy strategies, and security
– Configure, test, maintain, and install application software, system management tools, and operating systems
– Indite and assert custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
– Control and watch all installed systems and infrastructure
Requirements
– You’ll be a good fit for this position if you have experience with monitoring systems

– Active Directory experience required
