Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Network Project Manager to join our dynamic team and take charge of overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of network infrastructure projects. As a Network Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization’s network initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to manage all aspects of network projects from initiation to closure.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution:
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgetary requirements for network infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project goals, requirements, and success criteria.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, milestones, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
• Manage project changes, scope creep, and ensure proper change control processes are followed.
1. Team Coordination and Leadership:
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including network engineers, technicians, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members to ensure a shared understanding of project objectives, tasks, and timelines.
• Delegate responsibilities, provide clear instructions, and manage resource allocation to optimize project efficiency.
• Conduct regular project meetings, provide status updates, and address any project-related concerns.
1. Stakeholder Management:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as IT managers, business units, and executives, to understand their network requirements and align project objectives accordingly.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors, contractors, and suppliers involved in network infrastructure projects.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, manage their expectations, and provide regular project updates.

• Develop project budgets, track expenses, and ensure effective utilization of allocated funds.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to source and acquire necessary network equipment, software, or services.
• Optimize resource allocation, ensuring that the right personnel, skills, and equipment are available for successful project execution.
1. Quality Assurance and Documentation:
• Define and implement quality assurance processes to ensure network projects meet established standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular reviews and inspections to identify and address any deviations or deficiencies.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of project plans, technical specifications, progress reports, and post-implementation evaluations.

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or telecommunications.
• Proven experience (X years) as a Project Manager, specifically in network infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of network technologies, protocols, and architectures (e.g., LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with network equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network monitoring tools.
• Proficient in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are desirable but not mandatory.
