Position Overview:

As the Director of IT and Software Solutions, you will be the driving force behind our technological advancement, responsible for overseeing the entire IT landscape, from ERP systems to software development. Your role will encompass managing a talented team of software developers, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring our technology initiatives align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ERP System Mastery: Demonstrate expertise in ERP systems, leading their integration, optimization, and maintenance. You will play a pivotal role in aligning these systems with our business processes, enhancing efficiency, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Vendor Management: Forge and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and partners. Negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services that drive our digital capabilities forward.
  • Strategic IT Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that reflects our long-term goals. Lead the creation of technology roadmaps, identifying opportunities for innovation and anticipating industry trends to keep us ahead of the curve.
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage the IT budget effectively, ensuring prudent allocation of resources to deliver maximum value. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or innovation.
  • Team Empowerment: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Encourage professional growth, provide clear direction, and enable the team to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within scope.
  • Technology Governance: Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure security, compliance, and operational excellence. Drive initiatives that enhance cybersecurity and data protection.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in IT leadership roles, with a focus on ERP systems, software development, vendor management, and IT strategy.
  • Strong track record of successfully leading and managing software development teams.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address technological challenges.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Budgeting and financial management experience, demonstrating a prudent approach to resource allocation.
  • Deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and their potential impact on business operations.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISM) are a plus.
