Senior Technical Program/Project Managers in the IT Software industry might be interested in joining this existing team to work onsite with our local client. This contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the San Francisco, California area and will work a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite). We are seeking candidates for a Senior Technical Program/Project Manager position, which will manage key projects as part of our client’s strategic business plan. This job is important because it ensures that changes are delivered to the expectations of stakeholders, serving as a key member of the team. You will be working with Business Intelligence and Data teams., and will help with Data Governance, Key Metrics, MDM, DW, and Snowflake implementation.
Your responsibilities in this role

– Produce and execute on complex project plans and key milestones

– Assign people to appropriate tasks in order to leverage team talent

– Proactively recognize and resolve risks

– Ensure strategies and objectives are aligned with project priorities

– Lead cross functional projects across multiple systems or functions

– Recognize and manage project interdependencies
Requirements
– Experience managing complex cross-functional and technology projects

– Technical experience including familiarity with Data Integrations, Data Engineering, BI, Snowflake, Tableau, Asana, etc.

– Experience leading Agile delivery teams, projects and programs

– Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of education and work experience

– 7+ years of program/project management experience in leading BI projects/Data Governance projects

– Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization

– Skilled in utilizing resource tools to manage capacity, forecast, demand and allocation of people

– Experience leading medium to large custom and/or complex software development and/or implementation projects
